Q&A with Ryan Elliott

“The main problems I see with [digital djing] are that when people swap hard drives then DJ, they end up with WAY to much music to choose from in the booth. There isn’t enough preparation in that way. With records, you have to buy them and physically pick them for your shows. Even with CD’s the act of physically burning the music to a disc and carrying that disc is a form or filtering or preparation.”
